Donna, a beautiful soul, thank you for sharing the richness of your life with myself and Isaac. We are very blessed that we got to be part of your life. You were always busy, bustling about in the kitchen, playing family games when we all got together, and cleaning and gardening and and and...never ever really idle. Your wonderful loving heart, happy to accept the request to be Grams to Isaac. Isaac was amazed how magical you were because you always found us no matter where we camped. We loved that you and Gramps always found us because it was always fun to spend that time with you. You are in a better place, without regrets, sadness, pain, and suffering. You are in a place where you feel the depth of love, of all those left behind, and all who went before you; finally you can embrace it all. With all our love, we look forward to seeing you again someday,

Donna embraced life to the fullest.
Attending supper’s, lunches and different family functions was like going home. When entering the home one was greeted by great food smells, drinks being poured, laughter and talking, and always a warm welcoming smile and a big hug. Donna Made everyone feel like family in her heart and in her home.
To my grandchildren (Christopher and Isaac) she was Grams and Mike is Gramps.
Donna is with her angel’s and she is our Guardian Angel.
Donna we will miss your sense of humour, quick wit, conversations, warm embraces and zest for life.

My deepest condolences to Uncle Mike, Jason & Jared during this difficult time. I just learned of Auntie Donna's passing this morning. She was my God-Mother and Auntie and I wished now I was able to give her a hug at my mom's, her sister Anne's funeral last fall! Rest in peace Auntie Donna, please give my Mom, Auntie Martha and Baba & Gido Kowal a big hug from me! You are all together again! I love you! - Sherri Turta xoxo

What can I say about Donna? She was funny, giving, hard-working, caring, and had high standards for herself. I've known Donna since I was a little girl, and as I reminisce, growing up next door to her and Mike was such a blessing. I raided Donna's garden for peas and carrots when they were camping, marveling at the huge garden that always seemed to be teeming with veggies. And those strawberries! Man those were good.
I also remember that I was treated like a niece by Donna; playing with Jason and Jared in the backyard, being given treats of popsicles and kool-aid on hot days. And oh my goodness - the Christmas Eve gatherings and NYE parties we had with Donna and Mike were epic!
As I got older, Donna remained a part of my life, helping me get a job as a temp secretary with her at IBEW, and babysitting my own children when I needed the help. Getting to know her as an adult was such a cool experience, and she truly became a friend.
Donna, you hold a very special place in my heart. I am grateful that you were a part of my life, and so deeply saddened that I won't get to see your classic impish grin or hear you laugh. Though small in stature, you were a force of a woman who always stood up for what was right. May you rest in peace.

Aunt Donna may have been tiny, but she sure was mighty. Even though distance kept us a part, when we were together the connection was strong and the love ran deep. I will miss her incredibly and it makes me smile to think she is with my mom having a laugh and a drink. Love to all of you.
