It is with a very sad heart that I offer my deepest sympathies to Nate's family and friends. We were both in a cribbage group when he lived in Montreal for several years. I knew him to be kind and thoughtful, personable, and fun to be around. Nate had a big, bright smile that brought a measure of joy to everyone he met. He was unforgettable.

Nate... we lost touch quite a while ago... 7 years... perhaps more? I figured you were busy with other stuff, so I did not insist upon you... Just now I decided to google your name and landed on this site... a tiny part of me wants to believe that this is the work of the brilliant IT guy with his warped sense of humor: the one that you and I shared. On the other hand, as an agnostic, I will say this: if there is a heaven, you of all people should be there; you are a kind soul, funny, non-judgmental brilliant, easy to get along with... you will do well if there is a heaven. So RIP Nate, Sue in Montreal
