I will miss our conversations about Mexico and Central America and I will miss her at the YWCA pool in our exercise classes. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by all who knew her. I was shocked to hear of her passing just before my husband's passing .Please accept my late condolences .
Sincerely ,Judy Tokaryk

It was with surprise and sadness that I read of Linden's passing. I run On the Boards at The Refinery and have known Linden, and yourself, only as ticket holders for Live Five the last few years. But I still remember the first time she called to make a reservation. I commented on what a beautiful name she had. She seemed surprised. When I met her in person the first time, her presence matched her name; gentle but strong.
Even though I did not know Linden more intimately than smiling across a box office counter, I wanted to give you my condolences and let you know how she will be remembered by me.

To Lyn’s family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy.
I knew Lyn through being “classmates” at the YWCA aqua fit classes. She was a very friendly, welcoming person and spoke often with pride about her children and grandchildren.
So very sorry for your loss.
With care,
Shirley

I met Lyn in 1974 at the topmost row of the large U of S Biology theatre while attending BioSc 101. We realized that we were both Archaeology/Anthropology majors and became close friends: Lyn’s passion was linguistics, mine archaeology.
She was instrumental in introducing me to my husband Stephen while we were TAs occupying cubicles in the Archy/Anthro TA room. Many beers were drunk, topics explored and papers written from adjacent cubicles. Our friendship blossomed and grew over the years while we shared many adventures, local and exotic, and good times and sad ones.
Lyn was(and I can’t believe I’m saying that) a bright light in my and many other of her friends and families universe. Her love of learning everything from the Spanish language to natural and cultural history, her active living lifestyle and her fierce love of her family and friends combined to make her a special friend. I will remember her every time I identify a bird or wildflower, take a hike, ride a bike, plant a garden, bake a pie, try to learn bridge, hug my kids or grandchild...Her passing has left a hole in my heart and my life that will never be filled. I love her dearly and she will be missed forever.
Miss you Lyn

I have known Lynn as far back as I can remember. She was one of my parents' very best friends and was a key reason for my interest in "sitting with the adults" instead of the "kids table". I have always loved her caring eyes, quirky laugh, earthy cooking, and appreciation of the outdoors, language, pottery and beer. She and I shared a love of anthropology. Her loyal friendship to my parents, and her support and interest in the lives of my brother and I was deeply appreciated. The Chubb family is so grateful to have shared in her life and will miss her deeply.
Warm vibes to all through this transition.

Such an elegant and gentle person - always with the twinkle in her eyes and voice. My mom’s dedicated life long friend from 1973 to the day she departed. Cooke family and friends - so sorry for your loss. So sad - way too soon.

Lyn is the mother of Kristen who is a wonderful friend to my daughter Heidi. I didn't know Lyn well but whenever I had a chance to meet Lyn I could appreciate what a warm, kind, generous person she was. I am so very saddened for her family to have experienced this loss. Lyn was a special person. Jane Bickis

Very tragic to lose my auntie so soon. So many good memories during our travels together, especially while on Safari in Africa. She was a good soul and an intellect. She will be remembered for her easygoing nature. I will miss her laugh and bright spirit.
- May my love be with you and your loved ones, always.
