It was so sad to see Ken's obituary in the newspaper today. I first met him when he was three years old at his home on First Avenue North in Saskatoon. He was such a cute fair-haired boy. His second name Allan probably came from his father's brother Allan, who was my first husband (he died at such a young age in an auto accident). I met Ken from time to time at Walmart or the Safeway when we were shopping for groceries. He always called me Auntie which I found amusing as he was the only former niece or nephew to always call me that and he would have a laugh too. I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to his wife and children and although I did not know them very personally I am thinking of their loss. Also to Louis, Shirley and Art on the loss of their brother and friend. It is too bad we cannot meet for a funeral at this time to honour Ken and pay our respects.
