So sorry to hear about Carrie's passing. I have great memories of what a smart, stylish and funny person she was. I am especially appreciative of how thoughtful and supportive she was to me during my own health challenges. Our thoughts are with Carrie's family at this very difficult time.

Although I only knew her briefly as a young teenager involved with her sisters and Job's Daughters, I always remember her as a lovely girl with a beautiful smile. I was Bethel Guardian for Job's Daughters and the Neufeld sisters were involved in a fashion show fundraiser. What a lovely tribute written for her obituary. Condolences to all the family.

To Carrie's family;
I knew Carrie though the Bookstore at the University, and later as a neighbor who regularly walked her dog past my house. Even later, I learned that she was the sister of my colleague and Department Head, Eric.
In all, I knew her as a genuine and very positive person. I am very sad to learn that she has passed from this mortal life. Yet, I am sure that she has left the same positive mark on all who knew her that she left on me.
I grieve the loss of a colleague, a neighbor, and a wonderful human being.
A gentle journey, Carrie!

So many fond memories from our family trips to visit Uncle Ernie & Aunt Irene and all the family in Weyburn. Carrie would always take the time to dote on me, and I loved every minute of it! To all the family she leaves behind to mourn, please accept our heartfelt condolences.

I had the pleasure of working with Carrie at the University Bookstore for the better part of 25 years; a more capable, outgoing, and fun-loving person you'd be hard-pressed to find. She had a wit that cut like a knife, and she used it on me like a scalpel, to my immense amusement [usually].
The world will be a blander place without her laughter in it. My sincere condolences to Scott and the kids at this sad time.

To Carrie's loved ones. . .
I only knew Carrie through her work at the university bookstore, but she was memorable in a thousand ways. Carrie made the ordering of texts a delightful task as opposed to a necessary chore. Her generous spirit, sense of humour, and work ethic made that part of the bookstore a lovely space. I never left an encounter with Carrie - whether in person or via email - without feeling better. Carrie's spirit helped make the university what it should be and often is not. My deepest condolences on your loss that will be felt by so many. Glorie Tebbutt, Dept of English, University of Saskatchewan

My darling Carrie, I wish I could have been with you when you left. You meant so much to me these last 6 years, our journey together, not one anyone would wish to be on. How lucky I was to have you in my life, and to meet you and your family last year. God Bless your family. With all my love....until we meet again.

I worked at the University Bookstore during the time Carrie did. It was a pleasure and an honour to have known her. She was sharp and organized and kind. I still remember the summer we had three Carries at the store, one who was also Neufeld (a fellow). When answering the phones we had to say 'Carrie who?' followed by 'which one?'. This one. I am sorry she is gone.
