Sending my love and condolences to the Jestin family. I know this comes late but I only found out today that he passed away in October. Super heartbreaking too. I had visited Mr Jestin every other month (for health purposes) and he would tell me about his past jobs, his dreams he had, his love for art and riding bikes and many more.
I wish you peace in the other side. I hope heaven has lots of paint brushes for you to paint with in the skies and bikes to ride fast on again. Rip.

Bruce was the coolest, funniest and craziest role model in my life. He was someone I admired, respected and enjoyed being with. Bruce always let me tag along with him from basketball games with his friends, to Sawyers doing the liquor run, or just hitting Circle Drive on his motorcycle. I’ll forever remember all the fun we had and the zany cast of characters Bruce introduced me to. Thanks “Doc” for everything.

Condolences to the family, I will miss him and his over the top positive attitude. Bruce was the ultimate bartender, co-worker, Chili Champ team member and all around friend. He enriched my life with his attitude of doing it just for the fun of it all and going all in. He made moments memorable on purpose. From forging my signature at work, to pulling me over from his motorcycle with his unique siren imitation, he was one of a kind.

It’s hard to put on paper the things a pure sole brings into your life and Bruce’s pure sole touched my life deeply. His energy was infectious and exhausting. I first met Bruce in 1979/80, he was just out of high school where we worked together at Foxy’s on 8th street. Our friendship was instant and lifelong. Bruce accepted people at face value and found a way to always see the good in them. He had casual ease and charisma with a sense of mischief that was always not far from the surface. His willingness to share that mischief often fueled those of us with a similar sense to places we probably should not have been. As young single men we strutted in and out of local watering holes as if we were rock stars. This was in large part a result of Bruce knowing everybody who was anybody.
Bruces’s pride in Sonya, Curtis, Christopher and Matthew was immeasurable. Every phone call and visit included and update on the kids. Sometimes they drove him crazy, but he was always invested and proud.
When Bruce joined the school board as a janitor (sorry I don’t know today's politically correct term), I can only imagine what some of teachers thought of this character who spoke to everyone student, principal or administrator as equals, or in Bruce’s mind “Customers”
In the last few years Bruce had lifestyle challenges in managing day to day tasks after his stroke, but he never gave up hope of beating these challenges. His dreams were bigger than life and he shared them often. Now Bruce gets to live out those dreams in his next great adventure. Fuel the bike and get at it bud.

It’s so hard to believe that you are no longer with us in physical form. I have so many memories of the times we spent together, the joy you had in always finding ways to make people laugh and bring silliness to a situation. Your easy going nature, boisterous laugh, the quick unexpected visits on your motorcycle rides. The time you dressed up as Beetle juice for Halloween and fully embodied the character, our trip to Banff as a new family and welcoming us into your life as one of your own.
Thank you for the memories, may you rest peacefully. Love Sonya

Thank you Doc Bruce for the picture you gave me on one of our trips to Sarcan. I enjoyed hearing your stories about Christopher and Matthew. So nice you shared a love for Baseball with Lindsay. He enjoyed all your phone calls during the playoffs. When you have time in heaven look for Lindsay and tell him the girls and I miss him.
RIP Doc Bruce ❤️
