I was a class mate of Delmer's at Fillmore and have fond memories of him from that time although I never crossed paths again. Nice to read about his life in this great account. He was too young of course but glad that he had some good retirement time. I was planning on coming to the memorial today at Fillmore as I was coming to visit my brother Blair and family, but that fell through. Still you are in my thoughts today. Karen
